Street Pastors engage with people on the streets to care for them, listen to them and help them. They work together with other partners in the night-time economy to make communities safer.
100,000 come into Manchester City Centre every weekend, drawn from across Greater Manchester and beyond. A small Street Pastors team have been patrolling in the Piccadilly area since 2010, listening, caring and helping.
Manchester South Pastors currently focus on the Wilmslow Road corridor. This encompasses Manchester University, Manchester Metropolitan University and their respective campuses, 4 hospitals, pubs, bars, clubs, parks, an art gallery and the infamous Curry Mile.
